Dr. Shelton and his wife reside in Houston with their two sons and dog. His outside interests include traveling, cooking and following Houston sports.
Biography
Dr. Greg Shelton is a native Houstonian who has chosen to establish his medical practice with OBGYN Medical Center Associates in his hometown. Dr. Shelton earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Colby College in Waterville, ME, and returned to Texas to attend medical school at The University of Texas – Southwestern in Dallas. His Ob/Gyn residency was completed at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
In addition to a wide variety of obstetrical and gynecological conditions, Dr. Shelton’s professional interests include the management of abnormal pap smears, cervical dysplasia, abnormal bleeding, and menopause. Dr. Shelton strives to provide patients with information to confidently participate in their healthcare decisions. He seeks to establish long-term physician-patient relationships that allow him to provide care for patients throughout the evolving phases of women’s lives.
