Personal Interests

Dr. Jenkins and her husband reside in Houston with their son. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and numerous outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. Dr. Jenkins also loves animals and has two rescue cats named Lucy and Darko.


Dr. Ann Jenkins was born in Taiwan but got to Texas as fast as she could. She grew up in the DFW area and graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in Finance. She went on to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. During her training, Dr. Jenkins took on several leadership roles as an advocate for women’s health with the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was heavily involved in instituting a gynecologic clinic staffed by volunteers for the homeless women living in the city. As a resident, she was awarded the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists’ award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, the American Urogynecologic Society Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as a Resident Service Award to recognize her work with the local community.

Dr. Jenkins provides care to women of all ages in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include general gynecology with minimally invasive surgery, preventative health, contraceptive counseling, and comprehensive obstetrical care. Dr. Jenkins is committed to supporting women’s health through advocacy and education and empowering women to participate in their health care decisions.
