In her spare time, Dr. Pacheco enjoys traveling, running, watching the Houston Astros, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
Biography
Dr. Lucia Pacheco was born in Venezuela. After living in England and France, she moved to Houston in 1999 and has called it home ever since. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in French. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, TX where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB where she also served as Chief Administrative Resident in her last year. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is experienced in French.
Dr. Pacheco provides comprehensive care for women of all ages in general Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include obstetrics and high-risk pregnancies, contraceptive counseling, preventative women’s health, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Pacheco is passionate about patient education and is dedicated to establishing long-lasting patient relationships while taking care of women throughout all stages of their lives.
